Genshin Impact update 5.4, titled “Moonlight Amidst Dreams,” will be released on February 12th. The update will take players to participate in the centuries-old Mikawa Flower Festival, an event that celebrates the bond between humans and yokai. During the festival, players will be able to immerse themselves in a variety of activities and minigames, such as “A Little Fox’s Daydream”, “Bunshin Phantasm” and “Akitsu Harpastum”, earning prizes and rewards. The update will also introduce a new 5-star playable character, Yumemizuki Mizuki, a clinical psychologist and shareholder of Aisa Bathhouse. Mizuki is an Anemo Catalyst user with unique abilities, including the “Dreamdrifter” status which increases Anemo damage dealt. His Elemental Burst summons a Mini Baku that creates special snacks that can heal or deal damage to party members. Yumemizuki Mizuki will be available in the event wishes of the first half of version 5.4 along with the return of Sigewinne, followed by Furina and Wriothesley in the second half.
In addition to the festival and the new character, Update 5.4 will include new events such as “Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter”, which will offer daily life stories of players’ favorite characters, and minigames such as “Reel Ad-Venture”, “Invasive Fish Wrangler” and “Realm of Tempered Valor”. Finally, Update 5.4 will introduce several system optimizations, including the ability to set leveling plans for characters in the Training Guide, improved filters for characters and weapons, and an Auto-Add button in the weapon refinement interface. Genshin Impact is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PC via client and Epic Games Store, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play. A version for Nintendo Switch is also planned.
