India Post GDS Recruitment 2024, Gramin Dak Sevak Application Correction window open:The last date to apply for the recruitment of 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevaks in the post office has passed. The postal department has now given the candidates who have applied to participate in this recruitment process a chance to make corrections in the application. For this, the correction window has opened today i.e. 6th August. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application till 8th August.
The Postal Department has given 3 days to the candidates to correct any kind of error in the application. The last date to register for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the Postal Department i.e. India Post was 5 August. Candidates who have applied to join this recruitment process can now correct the application by visiting the official website of the Postal Department indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

This year, India Post wants to fill a total of 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak posts in 23 postal circles across the country. For deployment on the post of Gramin Dak Sevak in the department, 4,588 candidates are to be recruited in Uttar Pradesh, 4,011 in Madhya Pradesh, 2,718 in Rajasthan, 2,558 in Bihar and 1,338 in Chhattisgarh. Talking about the selection process, the candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. For this, the marks obtained in the 10th board examination will be taken as the basis.
Indian Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
Applicants must have passed 10th standard examination from any recognized board with Mathematics and English as either compulsory or optional subjects. Basic knowledge of computer, cycling skills and financial literacy is also required.

Age Range
The age of the applicants should be between 18 to 40 years as on August 5, 2024. There is a provision of age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
