The Income Tax Department has fixed July 31, 2024 as the last date for filing ITR for the financial year 2023-24 (Assessment Year-AY 2024-25). Even if you are unable to file ITR by July 31, you will be able to file belated income tax return with late fine till December 31, 2024.
