Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Phase 5 Voting: In the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting took place on 49 seats in two union territories and 6 states on Monday. In this phase, voting was held for 14 seats in UP, 5 in Bihar, 4 in Jharkhand, 13 in Maharashtra, 7 in West Bengal, 5 in Odisha and one seat each in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. On Monday, Lok Sabha elections were completed in the state with voting on the last 13 seats of Maharashtra including all the 6 seats of Mumbai. During this time, many film celebrities, from Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar to Rajkumar Rao, were seen at the polling stations and streets of Mumbai. After voting on Monday, he also appealed to the people to vote.
Akshay Kumar made this appeal to the public after voting for the first time
Actor Akshay Kumar, who came to vote for the first time after acquiring Indian citizenship, said that I want my India to remain developed and strong. He voted on these issues only. Appealing to the people to vote, Akshay said that they should vote keeping in mind the developed and strong country.

During the fifth phase of voting, Govinda, who made people laugh with his films, also cast his vote. Apart from them, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Shilpa Shetty, Sunil Shetty, Mathura MP and BJP leader Hema Malini, Manoj Bajpayee, Hrithik Roshan, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, Ranveer Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi, actor Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, Deepika Chikhalia who played the role of Sita in Ramayana, Konkona Sen Sharma, Hal Many film personalities like actor Shekhar Suman, Anita Raj, Rajkumar Rao, who recently joined BJP, were also seen during voting.
In the fifth phase, an average of 59.84 percent votes were cast on 49 seats in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir and UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Maharashtra. The lowest voting percentage of 54.29 percent was recorded in Maharashtra. Talking about Mumbai, the voting percentage on 6 seats here was between 47 to 52 percent. 55.21% votes were cast in Mumbai North, 51.42% in Mumbai North Central, 53.75% in Mumbai North East, 53.67% in Mumbai North West, 47.70% in Mumbai South and 51.88% in Mumbai South Central. With the fifth phase of voting, voting for all the Lok Sabha seats of Maharashtra was completed.
