The first certificates that can be obtained online are: Registry of birth, registry of marriage; of Citizenship; of Existence in life; of Residence; of Residenza Aire; of civil status; of family status; of family and marital status; of residence in cohabitation; of Aire family state; of family status with kinship relationships; Free State; Civil Union registry; The certificates can also be issued in contextual form (for example citizenship, existence in life and residence can be requested in a single certificate).

The portal is accessed with one’s digital identity (Spid, Electronic Identity Card, Cns) and if the request is for a family member, the list of family members for which a certificate can be requested will be shown. The service also allows the preview of the document to verify the correctness of the data and to be able to download it in .pdf format or receive it by email.

But this is only the first step. In addition to the 14 certificates that can be downloaded online and free of charge from 15 November, others can easily be added without changes to the regulatory framework e further services for the citizen will be implemented in the coming months, like the procedures for making the change of residence, still announce Midt, the Ministry of the Interior and Sogei. Thanks to Anpr, the national registry of the resident population, Italian administrations will have a single reference point of data and personal information, from which they can find certain and secure information in order to provide integrated and more efficient services for citizens.

With a single national registry, every update on Anpr will be immediately available from public bodies that access the database, from the Revenue Agency to the INPS, to the civil motorization. The Anpr project is a project of the Ministry of the Interior whose implementation is entrusted to Sogei, the technological partner of the economic-financial administration, which also oversaw the development of the new portal. The Department for digital transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers is responsible for the technical-operational coordination of the initiative.

To date, the Anpr, the national registry of the resident population, collects the data of 98% of the Italian population

with 7,794 municipalities already taken over and the rest in the process of taking over. The National Registry, which includes the Registry of Italians residing abroad (Aire) equal to 5 million people, involves over 57 million residents in Italy and will be completed in 2021.
