A Moldovan arrested on Saturday, September 25 in Nice during an anti-health pass demonstration blocked near the home of mayor Christian Estrosi was tried Tuesday in immediate appearance and sentenced to ten months in prison and a fine of 135 euros for violence on police, rebellion and participation in a prohibited demonstration, French media reported.
According to the media, the 40-year-old man, who arrived in France a year ago, “had a violent attitude in the procession and was then arrested during a rebellion”.

The court also ordered damages to the three police officers very slightly injured during the altercation with the protester. The amount of the loss will be fixed later.
