In the Bulli Bai app case, IFSO Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested a person from Assam. According to news agency ANI, this person is being told as the main conspirator.
According to the police, the name of the fourth accused is Neeraj Bishnoi, an engineering student at Bhopal’s Vellore Institute of Technology.
According to an official statement from the police, “The creator of Bully Bai on GitHub and the holder of the Bully Bai Twitter account has been arrested by the IFSO team.”
This is the first arrest in this case by Delhi Police. The FIR in the case was registered on January 2. The bully by the case was transferred to the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Special Cell.
Mumbai Police has arrested three people
The Mumbai Police has so far taken three people into custody in this case. In this, there is a 21-year old student from Bangalore, whose name is Vishal Kumar Jha. A girl Shweta Singh from Uttarakhand has also been arrested. A third accused has also been arrested from Uttarakhand, who is said to be Shweta’s friend.
Bandra court has given accused Vishal Kumar in police custody till January 10.
An attempt was made to auction pictures of Muslim women on a GitHub platform using them without their permission. Many journalists and eminent women are involved in this.
In this case, the Mumbai Police had registered an FIR on January 2 under several sections of the IPC.
