Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, along with his family, took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj on Tuesday. Mukesh Ambani was accompanied by his mother Kokilaben, son Akash and Anant, daughter -in -law Shloka and Radhika, grandson Prithvi and Vedas, and sisters Deepti Salgaonkar and Nina Kothari. The family was accompanied by Mukesh Ambani’s mother -in -law Poonamben Dalal and sister -in -law Mamtaben Dalal. Four generations of the Ambani family along with millions of people joined the spiritual pilgrimage at the confluence of the holy water of Ganga, Yamuna and mythological Saraswati.
Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj, the lord of Niranjani Akhara, worshiped Ganga. After the worship, Mukesh Ambani met Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj, the lord of Parmarth Niketan Ashram. The Ambani family distributed sweets and life jackets in the ashram.
Prominent people like President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (including Cabinet) took a dip in the confluence.
Mahakumbh, which started from Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the largest spiritual and cultural gathering in the world, in which devotees from all over the world come. This grand event will continue till Mahashivaratri on 26 February.
