The Formula 1 World Championship is back in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the 17th round of the Grand Prix, where Max Verstappen will fight to keep his first place. A race that takes place on a street circuit and where the leader faces the seventeenth round of the season with a 62-point lead over Lando Norris. The Spaniards Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso will try to shine on a track where the Mexican driver Checo Pérez has offered a brilliant version. The Aztec achieved victory on the Baku circuit in 2021 and 2023.
Azerbaijan GP Classification
Charles Leclerc will start first on Sunday in Azerbaijan, taking pole for the fourth year in a row. Oscar Piastri, meanwhile, is second, followed by Carlos Sainz in third place. Checo Pérez takes fourth place in the standings and George Russell fifth, followed by Max Verstappen in sixth. Fernando Alonso takes eighth place behind Lewis Hamilton.
