Sharing about this, photographer Nguyen Long said: “Thai Vu has a handsome, scholarly appearance, but deep inside is an “artistic quality” that is easy to feel, easy to express in words and pictures. That is why this actor only needs to express himself to make all emotions become natural. Realizing this, when taking the photo series, Long chose a concept based on a very famous Asian character, Wong Kar-wai. With his inherent “artistic quality”, through fashion outfits (in which the choice of color and outfit coordination is the main thing, more important than style and fashion), an image, a personality of a person (character) is portrayed, clearly, full of expression”.
“Besides the lighting effects and the use of some small techniques in photography combined with Thai Vu’s acting ability in front of the lens, the frames are more poetic, more emotional and especially become more ‘talkative’. Thereby conveying many ‘languages’ to the viewers, easily conquering them”, photographer Nguyen Long continued.
