Let us tell you that the fate of 577 players is at stake in this mega auction which will last for two days. A total of 577 players will be bid in this mega auction. Maximum 204 players can be auctioned.
During this period, Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in the history of IPL. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer was the most expensive player but within a few minutes Rishabh Pant broke his record. Lucknow Super Giants have bought Rishabh Pant for Rs 27 crore. Whereas Punjab Kings has bought Iyer for Rs 26.75 crore. He broke Mitchell Starc’s record of Rs 24.75 crore.
Jos Buttler was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 15.75 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.
Australian left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 11.75 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.
David Miller was included in their team by Lucknow Supergiants for Rs 7.50 crore.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been included in the Punjab team for Rs 18 crore. His base price was Rs 2 crore. With this, Chahal has become the joint most expensive Indian bowler along with Arshdeep. Punjab had also included Arshdeep in their team for Rs 18 crore using RTM (Right to Match) card.
