Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher at Shambhu border said, “We used to say that the Bhagwant Mann government (of Punjab) is in collusion with the central government. The way the media is being stopped today, the Chief Minister and Arvind Kejriwal should come forward and clarify this. They (AAP) say they are with the farmers and laborers, then why are they stopping the media? The face of Bhagwant Mann government has been exposed. Earlier we were only against the central government, but now we have to deal with the state government. The Punjab government is trying to cover up the actions of the central government…”
In this matter, Patiala SSP Nanak Singh said, “…the media has not been stopped. We have no such intention. But it was necessary to give information to the media. Last time we came to know that 3-4 media persons have been injured. To avoid that, we informed the media… We will try that this does not happen, but if someone gets injured, we have a medical team to evacuate him.”
