Today, on 02 December, thousands of farmers are marching towards Delhi with their demands. Due to this movement, today there is a long traffic jam on all the roads from NEIDA to Delhi. Security has been increased on the Delhi-Noida border as the farmers of Uttar Pradesh are starting their march towards Delhi from today. Meanwhile, huge traffic jam is being seen on Chilla border.

From 27th November, farmers protested at the Greater Noida Authority and then from 28th November to 1st December at the Yamuna Authority, now in the third and final phase of the movement i.e. today on 2nd December, they are going to march to Delhi during the Parliament session. .
Know what is the demand of farmers
- Under the old land acquisition law, the affected farmers should be given 10% plot and 64.7% increased compensation.
- After January 1, 2024, four times the market rate compensation and 20% plot should be given on the land acquired.
- Children of landless farmers should be given the benefit of employment and rehabilitation.
- Government orders should be issued on the issues passed by the High Power Committee.
- Proper disposal of populated areas should be done.
