A picture of PM Modi is going viral on social media where he is seen sitting on a chair and talking to an elderly man wearing a suit. The same picture is being shared on social media and it is being claimed that this person sitting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is none other than American businessman George Soros. PM Modi is also being taunted by sharing the viral picture on social media.
While sharing the viral picture on Facebook, it has been written in the Hindi language caption, “‘Traitor of the Highest Order’ conspiring with George Soros – Rahul Gandhi…”

During Newsmobile’s investigation, we found that the viral picture is being shared with a misleading claim.
We investigated to know the truth behind PM Modi’s viral picture on social media. First of all we started searching the picture through reverse image search tool. During the search we found the viral picture. During the search we found the viral picture on the official Twitter profile of PM Modi, which was uploaded on October 22, 2019.

From the caption given with the post, we learned that the person seen with PM Modi in the viral picture is Dr. Henry Kissinger. It was told in the caption that Dr. Henry has made leading contributions to international politics and diplomacy.
After this, we started searching more closely on Google for confirmation. During the search we found the information published on NDTV’s website. an article Another photo matching the viral image was found which was uploaded on October 22, 2019. Here is how PM Modi met former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Australian Prime Minister John Howard during October 22, 2019, who were in India to attend the JP Morgan International Council meeting. Along with this, it is told here that during this period the Prime Minister also met former US Foreign Secretary Henry Kissinger.
From the facts found during the investigation, we came to know that the viral picture is not from recent times but was taken during the year 2019 and also the elderly person seen in the picture is not American businessman George Soros but former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger.
