The Formula 1 World Championship continues with the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit, one of the most historic events in the category. Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, the two drivers leading the championship, will be back at it this weekend, after an incident between the two ruined both their races in Austria. George Russell was the one who best knew how to fish in troubled waters at the Red Bull Ring and took the second victory of his career.
Spaniard Carlos Sainz also benefited from the battle between the leaders in Austria and climbed to third place on the podium behind Óscar Piastri, who also had a good afternoon last Sunday. Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso did not have his best day and at Silverstone he will seek to improve on the eighteenth position he achieved at the Red Bull Ring.
British GP Race Classification
Lewis Hamilton, winner of this Sunday’s race, becomes the driver with the most wins in history at Silverstone. Verstappen and Norris occupy second and third place in the standings, while Sainz is in fifth place and Alonso in eighth.
