Despite the conclusion of the 2024 Formula 1 season, the competition continues unabated in EA SPORTS F1 24. The official video game of the FIA Formula One World Championship has launched Season 5, entitled “Shifting Gears*”, offering players the opportunity to immerse yourself again in the emotions of the 2024 championship and obtain exclusive items.
Season 5 introduces several new features for all players:
Daniel Ricciardo Career Challenge (January 8 to February 3): To celebrate the career of the beloved Australian driver, players will be able to relive key moments from his journey across four episodes and eight iconic circuits. From his first victory with Red Bull in 2014, through other thrilling triumphs and memorable overtaking, this challenge offers a journey through Ricciardo’s history, with the chance to unlock new rewards.
Pro Liam Lawson Challenge (January 8 to March 5): The young New Zealand driver, who took over from Ricciardo in the Visa Cash App RB car, challenges players to compete at the Marina Bay circuit in Singapore, where in 2023 he impressed by outperforming both Red Bull and scoring his first points in Formula 1. Players who manage to beat his lap time will receive the 2024 Miami Grand Prix livery as a reward.
Elimination mode with F1 cars(January 8 to March 5): A fan-favorite mode returns, promising intense multiplayer battles where every second counts. In this mode, players will take to the track with their F1®World cars. Every 30 seconds, the driver in last place will be eliminated from the competition. By reaching 7th place or higher at least once a week, players will be able to unlock special rewards.
Season 5 of F1® 24 therefore offers rich content for all fans of Formula 1® and racing video games, allowing you to relive the emotions of the season just ended and face new exciting challenges.
