An explosive-laden vehicle has been found near the Mumbai home of Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Industries. Ambani’s personal security first saw this vehicle and informed the police. On receiving the information, the Joint Commissioner and the local DCP reached Ambani’s house and the Mumbai Police bomb squad removed the vehicle.
On the evening of February 25, a green Scorpio was seen standing near Antilia, Ambani’s house. Ambani’s security informed the Mumbai Police about this, after which the bomb disposal squad reached the spot.
Dog squad and quick response team also reached Mukesh Ambani’s house. It is being told that about 100 policemen were present on the spot at the time of checking the car.
ABP Marathi says that the registration number of a vehicle and explosive-laden Scorpio of Mukesh Ambani’s convoy is only one. According to the report, 25 gelatin sticks were allegedly found from the car.
The information of the case has been given to the Chief Minister’s Office and the Home Ministry. Because Mukesh Ambani has got Z plus security cover, the information of this incident has also been given to the Union Home Ministry.
According to ABP Marathi report, the state as well as central agencies can investigate this matter. Since the incident, the deployment of police has increased outside Mukesh Ambani’s house.
What did the Maharashtra government say?
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said that Mumbai Police’s crime branch is investigating this incident. Deshmukh said that a car filled with gelatin was found close to Mukesh Ambani’s house.
While giving a statement on the incident, PRO of Mumbai Police also said that gelatin was found from inside the vehicle but it was not an assembled explosive device.
