«No one is as capable of mobilizing young people as the young people themselves». This is the belief expressed by the vice president of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas, who made an appeal to the American pop star Taylor Swift, urging her to invite young people to vote during the concerts of her European tour scheduled for May. A single post on the singer’s social media, published last March, had stimulated as many as 35 thousand young Americans to register to vote on “Super Tuesday”.
