NDA’s victory is an unprecedented moment in the history of the country: Modi
Prime Minister Modi called the victory of NDA in the Lok Sabha elections as ‘an unprecedented moment’ in the history of India and assured the countrymen that he will move forward with new energy, new enthusiasm and new resolutions to fulfill their aspirations. According to the results of the Lok Sabha elections so far, BJP is emerging as the largest party but is still far from the majority figure. BJP is ahead in 239 seats overall, but for a majority in the 543-member Lok Sabha, there should be at least 272 MPs. However, the NDA figure has reached around 290, which is enough for a majority. Before PM Modi’s speech, BJP President JP Nadda also addressed the meeting organized at the BJP headquarters.
