Rahul Gandhi attacks PM Modi over Agniveer Scheme:Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Central Government’s ‘Agniveer’ scheme. He has said that Modi has converted soldiers into laborers but Congress will throw the ‘Agniveer’ scheme in the dustbin as soon as it comes to government. In an election public meeting in Charkhi Dadri, he said that as soon as the Congress government is formed, first of all the loans of farmers will be waived off and an amount of Rs 8500 will be deposited in the accounts of women every month.

Rahul Gandhi, who came to campaign in support of Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha constituency candidate Rao Dan Singh, raised questions on the Agniveer recruitment scheme in the very beginning of his speech and said that the Modi government turned soldiers into laborers in the name of this scheme. He said, “As soon as the Congress government is formed, the first thing we will do is throw this scheme in the dustbin.” Modi waived off loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of 22 billionaires. At the same time, regarding waiving off the loans of farmers, Modi says that this will spoil their (farmers’) habits.Rahul said, “Modi Ji, does loan waiver only ruin the habits of farmers? Not of billionaires? If waiving off the loans of farmers and improving their lives is to ‘ruin the habit’, then we will do this not once but again and again.” Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress government will waive off as much loan of farmers as the Modi government has waived off of billionaires and along with that a loan waiver commission will also be introduced.

Will deposit Rs 8500 every month in women’s account: Rahul Gandhi
Speaking about women voters, Rahul Gandhi said that Rs 8500 will be deposited in every woman’s account every month. He said that apart from this, a list of every poor person in the state will be made and financial help will be given to the woman of that family until the financial condition of the family improves. The Congress leader also reiterated the promises of the Congress manifesto of doubling the salary of Asha workers, increasing MNREGA wages from Rs 250 to Rs 400, giving jobs to 30 lakh youth and depositing Rs 8500 every month in the accounts of graduate youth if the party forms the government. Apart from former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, senior leader Kiran Chaudhary and former MP Shruti Chaudhary also attended Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting. Voting will be held on May 25 on all ten Lok Sabha seats of the state.
