World Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd every year, the largest environmental event on the planet. Earth Day’s main objective is to draw attention to the conservation of the Earth’s natural resources and the damage caused by pollution. Today this anniversary mobilizes a billion people in over 192 countries.
In this context comes the appeal of ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators, a point of reference for innovation in Italy which, through the voice of its President Gabriele Ferrieri, states that “the ecological and digital transition are the basis of a sustainable economy for the protection of our way of life. This day must represent a warning to all countries in the world to increase their efforts towards environmental protection and to implement a sustainable economic-industrial system. The investments made to date are not yet sufficient, as both climate change and global warming are advancing and radical change is needed to provide concrete answers to the problem. As young innovators we focus on a vision that supports young people, rewards sustainable companies, supports green startups and supports the implementation of new technologies to safeguard the Earth. This is our appeal.” President Ferrieri concludes.
