Drunken party; Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan arrested

Mumbai: Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau during a party on a luxury ship. The arrest of seven other accomplices has been registered. The accused have been taken for medical examination. Eight people have been arrested in the case.

NCB sources said they had received a clear indication of the gang that delivered the drugs to the accused. The NCB said it had received information from detainees. The others arrested are actor Arbas Seth Merchant, Moonmoon Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Choker and Gomit Chopra.

The drugs were seized during a search by the NCB team aboard the Cordelia Cruise. Drugs including cocaine, hashish and MDMA were found. The inspection was led by NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankade.

The event is being organized by Fashion TV India and a New Delhi – based company. They have been directed to appear for questioning. The statements of more than 100 people on board will also be recorded. A two-week investigation into the allegations has yielded results.

The luxury ship Cordelia Cruise was inaugurated two weeks ago. The raid was carried out following a tip-off that the ship was scheduled to have a drunken party on Saturday. Public drug users have also been arrested during the party. The officers boarded the ship in the guise of passengers.

The party organizers sold tickets saying it was a concert. About a hundred tickets were sold. The event was held from October two to four. Later, when the ship left the shores of Mumbai and reached the Mediterranean, the drug party began. Shortly after the party began, NCB officials raided and arrested the culprits.
