In addition, Russian air defenses successfully shot down two drones in the Krasnogorsk and Chastsy districts, west of Moscow. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in these incidents.
The US State Department addressed the issue by emphasizing that it does not encourage drone strikes in Russia. US officials indicated that Ukraine has the right to determine its defense strategies, and Russia could potentially ease the situation by withdrawing from its neighboring country.
Ongoing allegations of drone strikes inside Russia have raised concerns, with the Russian Defense Ministry revealing that two drones were shot down over the Moscow region and two more were intercepted near the Bryansk region along from the border with Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has previously commented that attacks on Russian soil are an “inevitable, natural and absolutely just process.”
