The Congolese army announced that it had neutralized 45 rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) and arrested 91 collaborators of these attackers in a territory of eastern Democratic Congo (DRC) since the establishment of the state of siege on May 06 latest.

By declaring a state of siege, President Félix Tshisekedi appointed army and police generals to head the provinces of North Kivu and Ituri on the border with Uganda and Rwanda.
The movement is accused of a wave of massacres in the territory of Beni since 2014, killing thousands.
