For nearly 20 years in the profession, Dr. Trung has performed surgeries on many people, including children in difficult circumstances, to have their imperfect facial features restored completely free of charge. Thanks to that, many people have regained their smiles, confidence in communication and from there their lives have changed.
Working in the cosmetic industry, Dr. Trung understands the positive impact of a good appearance on many people’s lives. As an ENT doctor, witnessing many cases of teenagers losing confidence and feeling inferior because of cleft lip and palate deformities, along with the desire to improve the appearance of patients, Dr. Trung chose Ho Chi Minh City as the place to pursue cosmetic surgery. Then, when La Ratio Aesthetic Institute was established, in addition to beauty services, Dr. Trung fulfilled his long-standing concern, which is to help people with deformities, cleft lip and palate and some facial deformities find their smiles again. The BST (Best Solution Treatment) program means “Best Improvement Solution” but is affectionately called by everyone with a familiar name, the “Doctor Trung” program. During his working days in Hue, Dr. Trung observed and understood that each individual with a defect or parents with children who are unlucky and have imperfections on their faces have sadness and self-consciousness. Therefore, no matter how complicated the surgery is, Dr. Trung does not hesitate to continue to make corrections until achieving high aesthetics to bring a truly confident smile to you.

With the belief that giving is forever, Dr. Vo Thanh Trung cherished the idea of establishing a charity program to spread the spirit of mutual love, helping each other, and sharing with those who are still facing many difficulties. From these dreams of dedication, the young doctor founded and runs the charity program “Connecting Heart Smiles”. The program was born in 2013, taking kindness as the guiding principle for all activities.
During many years of working in the profession, Dr. Vo Thanh Trung has always enthusiastically and quietly contributed to society through volunteer activities.
In addition to the purpose of examining patients, providing medicine, giving gifts and donating charity houses, in the program, Dr. Trung also receives and examines cases of deformities, especially cases of cleft lip and palate and some facial deformities, and then plans to bring them to Ho Chi Minh City for free cosmetic surgery. Dr. Trung believes that when a smile is lit up, it will contribute to building a warm and loving society.Dr. Trung shared: “After 11 years of operation, the journey we have been bringing is smiles to unfortunate lives. From there, we spread love to the community. We believe that when we constantly strive, miracles will certainly happen.”
Currently, Dr. Vo Thanh Trung is the Deputy Director of the International Aesthetic Center, Hue Central Hospital. In addition, Dr. Trung is also the Director of the DNC – La Ratio Aesthetic Center at Can Tho University Hospital, and the founder and CEO – Director of the La Ratio Aesthetic Institute chain.
Sharing more about his volunteer journey to contribute beauty to life in the future, Dr. Vo Thanh Trung said that he will continue this volunteer journey in the coming years. Currently, he is nurturing his next dream of helping disadvantaged young people receive free training and creating jobs for them at the facilities he founded.
