Türkan Mutlu addressed President Erdoğan during his visit, “We find this power thanks to you today. If we had seen this power 30 years ago, maybe so many mothers in Turkey would not cry like they do today.” used his statements.
Stating that she has been experiencing the pain of her daughter Ceylan for 8 years, Mutlu said, “An HDP deputy says, ‘Crocodile tears are the tears of Diyarbakır mothers.’ For God’s sake, which mother is shedding crocodile tears for her child? You have taken my child away from me for 8 years. You do not tell me whether he is dead or alive, where he lives, whether he exists or not. As a mother, I have no right to see my child for a minute. But I I want my child at your door today and I’m right?” he said.
“I have been fighting the PKK and HDP for 8 years for my daughter”
Noting that they have been protesting in Diyarbakır for 2 years, but he has been in Diyarbakır for 7 years, Mutlu said that his health was adversely affected and that he could only stand for 10 minutes at most.
Mutlu said, “I have been fighting the PKK and HDP for my daughter for 8 years. I went up to the mountain alone. They did not give me the right to be a mother even to see my child for a minute. My Ceylan was like a gazelle. Save her and the children of all mothers from those oppressors. ” said.
Altun: “Everyone should meet these brave women”
In his post, Presidential Communications Director Altun said, “Our President visited the mothers of Diyarbakir who have been protesting for 689 days to see their children again.
