The Constitution is being discussed in the Parliament. During the discussion on ’75 years of glorious journey of the Constitution of India’, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “This is Abhayamudra. Confidence, strength and fearlessness come from skill, from thumb. These people are against it. Just as Dronacharya had cut off the thumb of Ekalavya, you are busy cutting off the thumb of the entire country…”
During the discussion on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, “This is Abhayamudra. Just as Dronacharya had cut off the thumb of Ekalavya, you are busy cutting off the thumb of the entire country… When you hand over Dharavi to Adani, you are cutting off the thumbs of entrepreneurs, small and medium businesses. “When you hand over India’s ports, airports and defense industry to Adani, you cut off the thumbs of all the fair businessmen of India who work with honesty.”
I want to ask you (ruling party), do you stand by the words of your leader? Do you support your leader’s words? Because when you speak about protecting the Constitution in Parliament, you are ridiculing Savarkar, you are abusing Savarkar, you are defaming Savarkar.”
During the discussion on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, “I would like to begin my speech by quoting the statement of the supreme leader who is the modern interpreter of the ideas not of the BJP but of the RSS , who says about the Constitution of India and how he thinks India should be run – “The worst thing about the Constitution of India is that there is nothing Indian in it. Manusmriti is the scripture which is most revered by our Hindu nation after the Vedas and which has formed the basis of our ancient culture, customs, thoughts and behavior. This book has codified the spiritual and divine journey of our nation over the centuries. Today Manusmriti is the law.” These are the words of Savarkar…Savarkar has clearly said in his writings that there is nothing Indian in our Constitution. He has clearly said that the book which runs India should be removed from this book. There is a fight about this matter…”
“…Ambedkar ji had said – ‘If there is political equality but not social and economic equality, then political equality will be destroyed’, these are the words of Ambedkar ji. Today this is in front of everyone. Political equality has ended. All the institutions of India have been captured, there is no social equality, there is no economic equality, so our next step will be caste census…”
Rahul Gandhi said, “…we will implement caste census here and after that there will be a new kind of development, a new kind of politics in India… We will break the wall of 50% reservation here and we will conduct caste census here.”
