Mumbai: Sanjay Gadvi, the director of ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’, passed away due to a heart attack. He is 56 years old.
Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Dhoom’ was released in 2004. The film was a huge hit. After this, the movie ‘Dhoom 2’ released in 2006 starring Hrithik Roshan was also a huge success. Both these films are directed by Sanjay Gadvi. Apart from these, Sanjay Gadvi has also directed films like ‘Tere Liye’ and ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’.
Meanwhile, 56-year-old Sanjay Gadvi died of a heart attack today (Nov. 19) at 9.30 am at his home in Mumbai. Speaking to the media, his daughter Sanjina said that he was very healthy and had no problems with his body before. Sanjay Gadvi is survived by his wife Gina and two daughters.
Sanjay Gadvi’s death has left Bollywood circles in shock. Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu expressed their condolences on their social media pages. With Sanjay Gadvi’s birthday coming up in three days (Nov. 22), his death has come as a shock.
