Devuthani Ekadashi is celebrated every year on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. According to beliefs, first of all the temple of God is decorated with flowers, leaves, floral offerings etc. Worship is done properly according to Vishnupuja or ‘Panch Dev Puja Vidhan’ or ‘Ramarchanchandrika’ etc. Light a ghee lamp or camphor lamp for worship. after this ,Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya, The mantra is chanted 108 times.
To raise Lord Vishnu on Dev Uthani Ekadashi, first of all Bhagwat Katha and Puranadika Shravan and Bhajan etc. are ‘singed’. Awaken the Lord by playing bells, conch shells, mridangam, drums and veena etc. and various types of Devopam games, leela and dance etc.
