Diwali of Gods i.e. Dev Diwali Kartik Purnima is celebrated with great pomp in Kashi. This time on Dev Diwali in Varanasi, total around 11 lakh lamps Will be burnt.
Today i.e. Friday evening, the inauguration ceremony of Namo Ghat will start from 3:30 pm till 5:30 pm, then all the delegates will start Dev Diwali by donating lamps in place of Namaste posture and lamps will start lighting at all the ghats. In this sequence, there will also be fireworks at Namo Ghat.
During this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the festival of lights by lighting the lamp at Namo Ghat along with Governor Anandi Ben, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Hardeep Puri. After this, lakhs of lamps will light up simultaneously in 84 ghats, ponds, ponds and temples of Kashi.
