NPS contributions through BHIM App:Contributing to the National Pension System (NPS) has now become even easier. NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL), a subsidiary of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has started the facility of contribution to NPS through its BHIM app. Payments made through the BHIM app are processed within the same working day, ensuring your contributions are invested correctly without wasting time.
NPS contribution will be easy through BHIM app
This feature of the BHIM app is powered through Bharat Connect, providing a seamless, secure and easy retirement savings solution for customers. Users of BHIM app can now make payments into their NPS account very easily. For this they will have to give only mobile number and some basic details.

How to make payment in NPS through BHIM app
1. Open the BHIM app and go to the “Recharge and Bill Pay” section on the home screen and click on “View All”.
2. Go to Other Categories and select “NPS” option.
3. Enter the required details, such as:
– Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) or 10 digit mobile number
– Date of Birth
– Tier (Tier 1 or Tier 2)
– Contribution Amount
4. After ticking the check box of Terms and Conditions, tap on “Get Bill Details”.
5. Check the details of NPS investment and amount by going to “Bill Info”.
6. After selecting the preferred payment mode, complete the payment by tapping on “Pay”.

The popularity of NPS is continuously increasing in the country. By September 2024, more than 38.25 lakh retail accounts have been added to it. With the launch of this new facility, more people will be inspired to adopt NPS and will be able to create a reliable source of income for their retirement. NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL) was established in 2024 as a wholly owned subsidiary of NPCI. Its main objective is to promote digital payments through BHIM app and provide a secure and easy payment experience to users across the country.
