Delhi Assembly Elections: BJP released resolution letter, promised free electricity, water and free cylinder on festivals.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its manifesto for Delhi Assembly elections 2025. Party’s national president J.P. While making this announcement, Nadda made many big promises for the development of Delhi. Free electricity and water, free LPG cylinders on festivals, and many other populist schemes have been announced in the manifesto.
Major announcements of the resolution letter
- Free electricity and water: BJP has promised to provide 200 units of free electricity and 20,000 liters of free water every month to the people of Delhi.
- Free gas cylinder on festivals: Free LPG cylinder will be given to every family on major festivals like Holi and Diwali.
- Women Safety and Empowerment: To ensure the safety of women, CCTV cameras will be installed in every locality. Apart from this, it has been promised to launch special schemes for women empowerment.
- Employment for youth: BJP has announced that if it comes to power, 2 lakh employment opportunities will be created every year in Delhi.
- Education and Health: The resolution letter promises to improve the condition of government schools and hospitals. To make health services in Delhi world class, new hospitals will be built on the lines of AIIMS.
- Traffic and Environment: Construction of new metro lines and roads has been promised to improve Delhi’s traffic system. Special schemes will be implemented for pollution control.
National President’s statement
During the announcement J.P. Nadda said, “The people of Delhi want change. Our resolution letter is a concrete step towards making Delhi clean, safe, and self-reliant.”
BJP national president and Union minister J.P. Nadda said, “Manifesto used to come earlier also but you also used to forget and political parties also used to forget what they had said but it is a change in culture that today the manifesto has been converted into a ‘resolution letter’. Our Prime Minister Modi has also given the mantra of moving from resolution to accomplishment…”
He said, “All the public welfare schemes going on in Delhi will continue even if the BJP government is formed. All those schemes will be strengthened in a more effective manner and will also be freed from corruption…”
He said, “We add this to BJP’s resolution that Rs 2,500 per month will be given to every woman in Delhi under Mahila Samridhi Yojana. This scheme will be passed in the cabinet in the first instance. Poor sisters will be given a subsidy of Rs 500 on the cylinder and one cylinder each will be given free on Holi and Diwali. To further strengthen Matra Suraksha Vandana, 6 nutrition kits will be given and every pregnant woman will be given Rs 21,000…”
The National President said, “We have decided that after the formation of the government in Delhi, in the first cabinet, we will fully implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi and along with this, we will provide additional assistance of Rs 5 lakh from the Delhi government i.e. Rs 10 lakh. Health cover worth Rs. 10,000 will be available under Ayushman Bharat scheme…

BJP also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government while releasing the resolution letter. The party accused the Delhi government of not fulfilling promises and corruption.
