Despite a decade having passed since its debut, DayZ, the pioneer of open world survival games from Bohemia Interactive, continues to churn out significant numbers. Recently, the independent development studio Bohemia interactive, founded in 1999, introduced its second official expansion, DayZ Frostline. DayZ Frostline immediately became a protagonist, recording sales of over 300,000 copies in the first week of launch alonedemonstrating strong interest from both longtime players and newcomers. The expansion offers a revamped and compelling gameplay experience that has quickly captured the community’s attention.
In an official note Bohemia Interactive revealed that on October 20, the peak day for DayZ Frostline, the game reached the impressive figure of 501,522 daily active users, divided between the various platforms: 235,618 on Steam, 113,897 on PlayStation and 152,037 on Xbox. This date also marked the historical record of concurrent players: 79,000 on Steam, 33,000 on PlayStation and 36,000 on Xbox.
