England came out on top after trailing by one goal. Denmark took the lead in the 30th minute through a goal from Mikhail Damsguard. But Simon Carey’s own goal helped England. The match was drawn at the appointed time and then returned to extra time.
Harry Kane was tasked with leading England to the Euro final for the first time in a match witnessed by over 60,000 spectators. Kane, playing in excellent form, scored in the 104th minute. England will finally face the Azzurri in the final on Sunday.
It was a beautiful sight to see Denmark reach the semi-finals after losing the first two matches of the group stage. The collapse of superstar Christian Eriksen in the first match against Finland was sad news for football fans.

With the joy of Eriksson’s return to life, Denmark will be heading out of the Euro Cup. Holding the English forward in the semis, they even looked like they would reach the final at some point.
