Cricketer Sandeep Warrier has been witness to the struggles of his wife Aarti Kasturi Raj for the past several years and is now feeling proud of the Indian roller skater winning a medal in the Asian Games. Warrier is a medium pace bowler who has been playing domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu. He has also played in the IPL and during the tour of Sri Lanka in 2021, he also got a chance to play a T20 International cricket match. Aarti won the bronze medal in the team event of 3000 meter relay of roller skating in the Asian Games on Monday.
Warrier told PTI, “I am very proud of him.” I am really happy that she was successful in winning a medal in the end. I have been a witness to her struggles for the last seven-eight years but she never gave up and kept working hard.
He said, “I know how hard he has worked in the last two years. I have seen his dedication with my own eyes. His aim was only to win a medal. I don’t remember when he took a break in the last two-three years.
Earlier, Aarti had described Sandeep as her biggest supporter. Both of them got married in 2019.
Aarti said, “I continued my passion for this sport and after marriage he did not ask me to change anything. He is very supportive.
