India recorded more than 47,000 cases of coronavirus contamination on Thursday in the past 24 hours, the highest number of daily infections in two months.

The website of the news magazine “India Today” reported, citing official data from the Ministry of Health, that the country had recorded 47,092 new cases of coronavirus contamination including 509 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Thus, the total number of infections in India rose to 32,857,937, while the total number of deaths from the virus reached 439,529 cases.

This is the highest number of infections in two months as India had recorded 48,786 new cases of infection as of July 1.
