New York: The coup continues in the third round of the US Open tennis. Ashley Barty, who was hoping to win the women’s singles title, lost to Shelby Rogers of the United States. Shelby’s victory came at the end of a three-set contest. The score was 6-2, 1-6, 7-5. Denis Shapovalov was also eliminated in the rough singles. South Africa’s Lloyd Harris defeated Shapovalov in straight sets. The score was 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
