Restrictions have been lifted, schools have also opened, there is hustle and bustle in the markets… but the government has warned about festivals. Yes, while everything is opening up, there is also a danger of corona. Cases are still coming and the threat of a third wave of corona remains. The government has clearly said that the second wave of corona is not over yet, so people should celebrate the festival at home.
The question may arise in the minds of the people that what is the tension when the schools open after all? No, don’t live in such a misunderstanding. Corona is not gone yet. The example of Kerala is before us. More than 30 thousand cases have started coming there. It is worth noting that as soon as the festival of Onam passed, the cases of corona also started increasing.
Now read what the government said
Amidst the increase in new cases of Corona and the possibility of a third wave, the Center once warned the people against negligence. The central government said that the second wave is not over yet, so gatherings should be avoided during the festive season. Even if necessary, people should not gather at one place without full vaccination. The government said that if precautions are not taken and the virus mutates, it will shake the whole system.
Didn’t get a chance to take off the mask.
NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said, ‘We have a strong appeal to the people. Now is not the time to take off the mask. Festivals should be celebrated differently this year as well. Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Eid etc with family only. As much as the situation seems to be under control, carelessness can worsen the situation. If the virus mutates, then it will shake the whole system.
The Health Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, there have been about 47,000 cases of corona in the country. Corona cases have increased due to increase in cases in 2 states. Kerala alone accounts for 69 per cent of the total cases reported last week.
