Constitution Day 2024, Samvidhan Divas: Preparations are going on in full swing across the country to celebrate Constitution Day. This day is celebrated every year on 26 November. Just a day before Constitution Day, i.e. on the morning of 25th November, Hamara Constitution, Hamara Swabhiman Padyatra was organized in the national capital Delhi. Thousands of youth participated in this walking journey. On the occasion of completion of 75 years of the establishment of the Constitution of India, just a day before the Constitution Day, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who participated in the ‘Our Constitution, Our Swabhiman Padyatra’, took out in Delhi and said that to promote democratic principles and awareness of constitutional values. History and importance of Constitution Day
Yesterday in the year 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted in the country. Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. To promote constitutional values among the citizens, the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment had announced on 19 November 2015 that the Government of India will celebrate 26 November every year as Constitution Day.
