Vijayaraghavan told a news conference that the LDF government has continued to rule the state through good governance and that the people have great hope and confidence in the government. The government should be able to act as a representative of all sections of the people. Vijayaraghavan said the party was committed to bringing about development-oriented innovation in all sectors in line with the expectations of the people.
There should be a better system in the field of education
Vijayaraghavan said in a press conference that better arrangements should be made in the field of education and science and technology. He added that the higher education sector should be able to embrace all the latest science and technology in a way that imparts modern technology. Those with better education should also be able to create jobs. He also said that they should be able to prepare the basic development they need.
The public sector needs to be modernized
The CPM Acting Secretary said that the public sector needs to be modernized and strengthened. The potential of the sector like tourism should be utilized effectively. It is the duty of the government to use all possibilities. The Acting Secretary said that the party intends to give all possible support to it. Vijayaraghavan said the development work should include dalits, adivasis, fishermen, women and the marginalized.
Conferences with the second week of September
Vijayaraghavan said the CPM branch meetings in the state would begin in the second week of September. The state conference will be held in February in Ernakulam. Prior to this, the district conference will be completed in December and January. Vijayaraghavan told a news conference that all the conferences would be held in compliance with the Covid norms.
