Condemning the terrorist attack on a mosque in Afghanistan by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

In the statement, which noted that the OIC’s stance against all kinds of terrorist attacks was stable, it was expressed that the most sincere condolences were made to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and that they wished healing to the injured.

Two suicide bombers carried out the attack.

On October 15, during the Friday prayers, 47 people were killed and more than 200 people were injured in the attack carried out by two suicide bombers at the Fatimiyya Mosque belonging to the Shiite community in Kandahar.

Last week, a bomb attack was carried out on a mosque in Kunduz province, and 46 people lost their lives.

The terrorist organization DAESH claimed responsibility for the attack in Kunduz.
