Summer in Myanmar lasts from March to May. Although this time of year has the highest temperature, this is still the best time to visit. Because, other than the sun and heat, everything is perfect – local people work outdoors, more shops along the way open. That makes it easier for you to interact with local people and learn about their culture.
Myanmar in “custom” mode of any tourist can be in automatic mode. That means, on any day of the week, as long as it’s in the dry season, tourists can set out and become models, photographers or explorers of history, adventure… culture between ancient times. Thousands of legends.
The ancient city is as peaceful as a town
Bagan is the ancient capital of Myanmar, where there were once prosperous dynasties. However, after thousands of years, that prosperity is now only a holy place and a relic. A vast space – only quiet temples, slowly brightening in the dawn light or quietly darkening in the sunset.
Coming to Bagan, start your own “self-healing” journey with an electric car – sandy roads will open, leading to magnificent giant temples… In Bagan, there are many temples, So much so that some are referred to only by their registration number. But whether called by name or by number, most ancient temples convey a distinct sense of peace through the quiet and coolness of their deep stone structures, the beautiful statues of Buddha sitting serenely inside. The scent of flower wreaths mixed with incense…
Not as crowded as in Thailand, not as noisy as in Cambodia, temples, pagodas, and monuments in Bagan have their own “style”. Or in front of temples, pagodas, monuments full of people and stalls like in markets with men innocently sleeping with their feet up, young people surfing the web on smartphones… Or nothing significant – That makes you feel “alone” alone, not bothered by anything – except for lizards rustling in the dry leaves…
Bagan and Myanmar have a lot of cats (Burmese cats are also popular in the world). They are especially suitable for the peace here. At any restaurant, eatery and accommodation, visitors can see many cats at the same time. They lie still on chairs, on walls or gently jump from one place to another. Visitors can freely make friends with the cats, give them food and enjoy peace with them

Bagan is a thousand years old
Thousands of years ago, there were two great empires in Southeast Asia. One is the Khmer empire from Cambodia, famous today for Angkor Wat. On the other side is the Bagan empire in central Myanmar. Monks from all over came to study in Bagan and it became a bastion of Buddhist scholarship. In just 200 years, more than 10,000 monuments have been built in Bagan and the city has a population of 2 million. This is a great heritage of Burmese culture. Tens of thousands of pagodas, temples, and stupas created during this glorious period have adorned and charmed this land today.
