Coca-Cola said bottled and cans containing high chlorate products have been distributed in many European countries such as Belgium, Netherlands, England, Germany, France and Luxembourg since November 2024.

“Most of the affected products and inventories have been removed from shelves. We will continue to take measures to remove all the remaining products from the market,” Coca-Cola Europacific partners said.
Meanwhile, the branch of Coca-Cola in France said that analysis from independent experts assessed that the possibility of health risks is “very low” and this branch has not yet received any. Complaints from consumers. Coke and Fuze Tea beverage products were affected in the shipment to France but the recovery order did not apply to the market.
Coca-Cola Europacific partners apologize for the recovery decision and said the company has discovered high chlorate status through a periodic inspection of the factory.
