Mr. Kim Sang-sik takes leave right after AFF Cup 2024
This is Mr. Kim Sang-sik’s first short-term vacation since starting to coach the Vietnamese team. On January 5, he and his students will have an important match in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final in Thailand.
While on leave from January 10, Mr. Kim Sang-sik still spent time watching players compete in domestic arenas such as the National Cup and V-League. Maybe on his days off, he still carries out the necessary preparations for the Asian Cup.

After the vacation, coach Kim Sang-sik will return to Vietnam in early February 2025 to continue coaching the team, preparing for matches at the 2023 Asian Cup. He will also work closely with his assistants. to perfect tactics and plans for the team. This is an important tournament, not only for national honor but also for the opportunity for the Vietnamese team to reach new heights in Asian football.
Coach Kim Sang-sik, with his experience and scientific coaching style, is expected to help the Vietnamese team achieve high results at this tournament. The players are actively practicing and preparing for the tournament, with the goal of going as far as possible.

Hopefully after the break, coach Kim Sang-sik will return with the best spirit to lead the Vietnamese team to conquer the challenges at the 2023 Asian Cup.
According to the 2027 Asian Cup schedule, the Vietnamese team will meet Laos on March 25, 2025. Vietnam also hosts Nepal (October 9) and Malaysia (March 31, 2026) in the remaining 2 matches at home. Vietnam also plays away matches against Malaysia (June 10), Nepal (October 14), and Laos (November 18).
