Even before the rising prices of petrol and diesel and the price of LPG cylinders, the burden has been increased once again on the pocket of the common man. The prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) have been increased in Delhi and adjoining areas. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased CNG prices by about 70 paise and PNG prices by 90 paise in the National Capital Region (NCT). If seen in this way, CNG prices in NCT Delhi increased by about 1.40 rupees in the last 9 months.
The rate of CNG in NCT Delhi is now Rs 43.40 per kg. After this, the CNG price has increased to Rs 49.08 / kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The price is Rs 54.10 / kg in Rewari, Rs 51.38 / kg in Karnal and Kaithal.
There is no change in the price in Gurugram, the price here is only Rs 53.40 / kg.
PNG prices also rise
In the National Capital Region of Delhi, the price of PNG has increased to Rs 28.41 per standard cubic meter (SCM).
The price in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad is Rs 28.36 per SCM. At the same time, the price in Karnal and Rewari has also increased to Rs 28.46 per SCM. The highest price in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli, is Rs 32.67 / SCM.
How often did CNG prices rise in the last 9 months
June 2020
In June last year, IGL increased CNG prices by 1 rupee. On 1 June, IGL announced on Twitter that CNG price in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad has increased from Rs 47.75 / kg to Rs 48.75 / kg. The new prices were implemented from 6 am on June 2.
After the increase in prices, the price in Rewari was increased from Rs 54.15 / kg to Rs 55.15 / kg, and in Karnal the price was increased to Rs 50.85 per kg.
July 2020
