New Delhi: A girl was found dead in a park in the national capital. The body of a minor girl was found, the English news channel Times Now reported. The incident took place at Hanuman Park in Harsh Vihar.

The park where the girl’s body was found is located in North East Delhi. The boy’s body was found near a park bench with his clothes torn. The girl has not yet been identified. Police are trying to identify the body and contact the family. The child’s body was sent for postmortem.

Another similar incident was reported weeks after the body of a nine-year-old girl was found in a cemetery in Old Nagal, Delhi. The girl, who was found dead in the cemetery, was later found to have been raped. The girl’s body was cremated without the consent of the family

The incident happened when the child went to fetch water from the cemetery. The priest said after the incident that the girl had died of electrocution. A subsequent detailed investigation revealed that the child had been raped and then murdered.
