Clayton Conservani, Globo reporter and presenter for 27 years, was fired from the network after almost three decades. In conversation with F5he said he was called for a conversation this Thursday (31).
“We’re changing our way of working, I was fired today but I’ll be back in production in March. All very well managed, but I’m free to evaluate proposals, I’m very strong and healthy to continue my expeditions around the planet”, he said to the report.
There is already a negotiation between Conservani and the company Play9, owned by Felipe Neto and João Pedro Paes Leme, a former Globo executive.
Clayton Conservani became famous on the network for his radical coverage, such as when he climbed Mount Everest in 2005, and produced reports for Esporte Espetacular and the program Fantástico. Meanwhile, in 2007, he climbed the coldest mountain in the world, in Alaska, with a team of six.
In the same year, he covered the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and made the series “Journey in Time” for Bom Dia, Brazil, where he showed the technological evolution in the sport.
“During the 27 years in the Globo group, I visited every continent. I crossed deserts in ultramarathons, dived into caves, climbed some of the biggest mountains in the world, survived an earthquake in Nepal, took a lot of risks to do what I love,” he wrote. in an Instagram post. “It’s a new phase where I can say yes to new opportunities, make dreams come true and have freedom to choose.”
