Clash between two communities in Bhopal, stone pelting, more than half a dozen injured

During this period, swords were also openly waved on the streets. More than half a dozen people have been seriously injured in the clash between two groups.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the incident site has been converted into a cantonment. The situation is now under control. Every corner of this area is being monitored by the police. The injured are being admitted to the hospital and are being treated.
Police station in-charge Ashish Upadhyay said that two days ago there was a fight between youths from two parties over some issue. To avenge that day, one side attacked the other on Tuesday morning. The police have appealed to the people to maintain peace.
The incident happened two days ago i.e. on the evening of 22nd December, when a person from a particular community was passing through Sardars Gali in a fast car. During the clash with the chieftains, the man took out a small stick from the vegetable cart and attacked him. FIR was registered in this case and now the accused person is in jail.
