A total of 377 media representatives from 39 countries of the world took military journalism courses in Turkey.
The courses are organized by the Anadolu Agency with the support of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA) and the Turkish Police Academy.
The deputy head of the Turkish Police Academy, Fatih Inal, told the AA correspondent about the courses organized at the academy centers in the Gelbashi and Anittepe districts of Ankara province.
According to him, the two-week courses are aimed at preparing media workers to work in crisis areas where armed conflicts, natural disasters and other emergencies occur.
Inal said that this year the 18th courses are being held, which will last from 9 to 20 August with the participation of 22 employees of the Azerbaijani media.
In general, during the period of organizing the courses “Military Journalism”, they were attended by 251 journalists from Turkey and 126 media workers from 39 countries of the world, including South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Ukraine, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Iraq and Palestine.
