This bullet train is running along the coast of Fujian province in southeastern China. The 277 km railway line connects the cities of Zhangzhou, Xiamen and Fuzhou. The maximum speed of trains running on this route is 350 km per hour.
The first high-speed train has been launched on this route. The train left Fuzhou city that morning. This railway has 84 bridges and 29 tunnels. Along with this there is another thrill– 20 km railway is built over the sea! This is the first bullet train running over sea in China.

The construction of this railway line started in 2016. Fujian Province’s mountainous and oceanic terrain was the project’s biggest challenge. China Railways said that eco-friendly steel has been used in the construction of the line above the sea. Used with intelligent robots.
